UniqueUserName We live in an age of hyperbole, but I'll wager this is easily one of the top three best funk albums recorded in the past quarter century. It's a masterpiece. The fact that it was basically recorded in a shack in Miami in the sweltering heat makes it all the more remarkable.

83 Because its one of the best albums ever made, and its very cinematic how it plays as a whole listen from clever vocals to the dynamic modes of funk to be heard here; ranging from boogie era giallo influences to hustler big box car bangers, all with winning personality & southern hospitality. Favorite track: Stormy Weather.
